Every step of your pups journey is of utmost importance to us so we take special care to get started on the right paw. We always hold a first time consultation in order to properly assess where your pup is at currently, and get feedback from you as to how your ideal training scenario plays out. As with everything at Chateau Poochie, the relationship between trainer, pet parent, and dog is treated as paramount. We aim to create a bond between the two of you that is unwavering and lifelong. We focus always on positive reinforcement to create the ideal fear and anxiety free environment.
Enrichment
Are you noticing some negative behaviors out of your furry friend? Perhaps they are being a little too needy? It could be that its not attention but mental stimulation that they need. Dogs are just like people, they require plenty of things to keep them engaged to prevent them from becoming listless or bored – that’s where our enrichment programs stem from. Book a specialized session that is in tune with your dogs comfort and watch their mood and refinement grow in leaps and bounds.
Day Training
Our packages focus on you and your dog — every training is a one-on-one session to provide maximum focus for your furry friend. To maximize your convenience and efficiency, we can pair these sessions with daycare, ensuring optimal use of your time! You can drop your pup off, knowing when they go to class and when they are out, and pick them up when your busy day is over. All this is secure in the knowledge that your dog has been motivated, trained, and socialized to be the best version of your best friend that they can be!
Training & Enrichment Details
All of our trainings are conducted by our fear and anxiety free trainers with emphasis on positive reinforcement.
Training Packages
Consultation with Trainer: This is for 30 minutes consulting with the trainer. The cost balance will go towards a private training class or package if booked at time of consultation. Individual custom plans will be created to set your dog up for success!
1 Hour Private Class: One on One instruction designed specifically to you and your dog’s needs. Each session is sold separately. If an evaluation was not done prior to the class, the first part of the class will be evaluating your dog and discussing a training plan.
1 Hour Private Class (Package of 10): This is a Package of ten, one-hour private classes. One on One instruction designed specifically to you and your dog’s needs. Each class will work on our goals, and we can always change and add to the training program as needed. Completely Customizable. Package expires 3 month after purchase.
30 Minute Private Class (Package of 10): This is a Package of ten, 30-minute classes. One on One Instruction designed specifically to you and your pet needs. Ideal for younger dogs to keep their focus and build up to the 1 hour training classes. Package expires 3 months after purchase.
2 Week Board and Train: This is an exclusive, comprehensive, training program designed to meet the specific needs and goals of the client. The program consists of a 2 week inboard stay at Chateau Poochie where our guests will receive multiple training sessions per day. Price of training is per pet in a multi pet household. ***All programs are personally customized; therefore, the clientele must have a consultation with the trainer PRIOR to booking this service.
Enrichment Packages
Canine Enrichment has a positive impact on your dog’s overall well-being. Enrichment is engaging your dog in activities designed to stimulate their mind and to keep them physically fit at the same time.
1 Hour Enrichment *Add-on to boarding stay or day boarding: An hour of puzzles, snuffle mats and other mental stimulation with our trainers to keep your dog’s mind active and help tire them out. This is a great mental enrichment for dogs who are boarding privately and aren’t in the daycare setting. We use your favorite treats or snacks as a reward. Canine Enrichment has a positive impact on your dog’s overall wellbeing.
